Ingredients
- 1 Medium Yellow Onion
- 4 tbs. Butter
- 1 Large Carrot
- 2 tbs. Olive Oil
- 1 tbs. Maple Syrup
- 28 oz Crushed Tomatoes
- 6 oz Tomato Paste
- 14 oz Water
Spice Rack:
- 1/2 tbs. Red Pepper Flake
- 5 Chicken Bouillon Cubes
- 1 tbs. Garlic Powder
- 1 tbs. Onion Powder
- 1 tbs. Paprika
- 2 tbs. Italian Seasoning
Instructions
Prep Station:
- Dice Onion
- Shred Carrot
- Mince Garlic
- Melt Butter
Active Cook:
- Saute diced onions for 6 minutes in melted butter on medium to low heat; add shredded carrots for an additional 4 minutes; add minced garlic.
- Add 2 oz of Olive Oil, entirety of the spice rack, our 28 oz of Crushed Tomatoes, 6 oz of Tomato Paste, and 14 oz of water to the mix; don’t forget the 1 tbs. of Maple Syrup.
- Set on low and cook for 4+ hours to remove acidity.
