This piece emerged during a time when I was navigating the overwhelming presence of ego-driven men. I started with what I knew best—graphite—and gradually experimented with the border, drawing inspiration from an image I found on Pinterest. I’d wanted to create this piece for a long time, and when I finally had the perfect canvas, it felt like the right moment.
